Today we had a visit in Class from Rich Mccue and he went over video and sound editing with us. I will admit when it comes to these areas I am a novice so I was pretty nervous at first trying to work out this technology but when I figured it out I actually had a lot of fun. The resources we focused on were iMovie for video editing, Audacity for audio recordings, and Screencastify for screen recording. I spent the majority of my time using iMovie and getting an understanding of the basics of video editing as well adding audio to videos. I ended up creating a funny little video using the practice sample we were given and I ended up really enjoying myself. Today taught me that maybe video and audio editing are not as scary as I thought.
